These Speakeasies Are The Cat’s Meow
Hey, pals. At Hooch Booch we’re pretty jazzed up on the speakeasy scene. But no secrets here…We wanted to share with you some of our favorite speakeasies and cocktail lounges in our two home states - Minnesota and Colorado.

ten 1920’s terms to know
Because Hooch Booch is inspired by the 1920s - reimagined for modern day 2020s, we like to use a lot of old-time jargon in our communication with you all. This month we’re providing you with a list of some of the phrases we like to use so that you can join in on the convo, too!

A Paloma With A Twist
In case you missed it, we’ve just added a new flavor to the mix. After a year of our original trio - the Clover Club (raspberry + lemon), Old Fashioned (oak, orange + cherry), and Bee’s Knees (honey + lemon) - it was time to expand our product line…

our expansion to minnesota
As of this month we’ve officially expanded beyond Colorado and launched Hooch Booch in a new state - Minnesota! Why the hop, skip and jump all the way up there? It was an easy decision. It’s where our founder, Anna Zesbaugh, grew up and lived before moving to Colorado for undergrad at the University of Denver in 2014. Not only is our founder from Minnesota…

Call Me old fashioned
Bee’s Knees, Clover Club, Old Fashioned… all classic cocktails that inspired the flavors of our hard kombuchas. Now, the Old Fashioned is a special guy. Can we blame them? All of a sudden they had so many different types of alcohol at their disposal to experiment with - fun! But, those who were familiar with the original, simplified Whiskey Cocktail were outraged by these fruity changes….

Living foods for a living body
Monday, 2/21, was World Kombucha Day and we thought what better time to share a conversation from our brewer and founder on kombucha!
Picture this: It’s 2002, grocery store isles don’t even have a kombucha section and the closest thing to a health drink is a Diet Coke.. The word kombucha has hardly touched the lips of a fraction of Americans. Well this is the year our brewer purchased his first scoby and, fun fact, the very same scoby is used in the production of Hooch Booch today! Let’s get into the conversation…

a good cause and a good conversation
Starting this quarter, Hooch Booch will be donating to an organization each quarter going forward. The organization will be chosen based on either reasons that are personal to select individual employees, or for reasons that are important to Hooch Booch as a whole based on our company goals and values. This quarter…

Not Just a Great Gatsby Party
As many of you know already, the Hooch Booch brand was inspired by the Prohibition Era of the 1920s - reimagined for the 2020s that we now live in today. This monumental era of massive advancements in technology and consumption created opportunities for some, bringing great prosperity. But for others, it was no Great Gatsby party…

Entrepreneurship & How to go for what you want
So what is entrepreneurship? The Oxford dictionary says: “the activity of setting up a business or businesses, taking on financial risks in the hope of profit.” … Yes, but this definition just barely scratches the surface. And here is why…
